Plugin Installation & Activation ​

• Download the plugin.
• In your WordPress Admin Dashboard, navigate to the Plugin management screen.
• Click on the "Add New Plugin" button in the header.
• Click on the "Upload Plugin" button in the header.
• Click on the "Choose File" button in the form.
• Select the nht-trading-academy-getlinked-support.zip file which you downloaded.
• Choose "Install Now"
• Once complete, activate the plugin from the Plugins menu.

Management ​

You can access the plugin configuration from either:

• The "Settings" link for the plugin under the plugin management panel.
• Under the "Settings" menu, find GetLinked Support.

Configuration Options ​

The plugin has the following configuration options available:

Landing Page Post Types ​

This option defines which WordPress post types can be used as landing pages (pages which the lead is redirected to after they have been logged in.). By default, only Pages and Posts are enabled, but if you have a custom post type you can add it to the allowed options.

Default Landing Page ​

This option defines the default page which the lead will be redirected to by default (when there is no to in the URL). When the WooCommerce plugin is active, the checkout page will have a shopping cart icon enabled to denote that it is a checkout page.

Default Product ​

This option defines which products should be added to the lead's cart automatically after being succesfully logged in and before they are redirected to the landing page. This enables a flow that directs a lead to the checkout page with products already in their cart.

Advertiser Hashes Whitelist ​

The hashes of the GetLinked Advertisers (can be from multiple GetLinked instances) for which functionalities will be enabled. This is done to prevent attacks / injections and allow the registration postback to be enabled for all Advertisers, Affiliates and Offers while not overloading the WordPress database with registrations.

GetLinked Postbacks ​

The postbacks listed in this section should be installed in GetLinked in order to enable various plugin functionalities. They should be set to the narrowest permissions possible while ensure that all desired traffic will have postbacks triggered for them.

Redirection Destination URL ​

The redirection destination URL should be provided to GetLinked as the destination URL which the advertiser will redirect to instead of the URL provided by the API. You can change the landing page of the destination URL by choosing a landing page from the landing page dropdown menu.

Advanced ​

These functionalities are used in debugging and fixing various issues.

Flush WordPress Rewrite Rules ​

This function is used to ensure that the redirection URL works correctly. Use this if the redirection URL does not work correctly before reporting a bug / issue.
